The Chef’s Table became the hero feature, with hot-rolled steel tubular bars curved to support a 10mm blackened steel top with a mirror-polished edge. Two separate entrances guide patrons on curated journeys through day and night experiences, while all zones reflect Reynold’s signature attention to detail and elegance.

The heritage building presented structural and access constraints, and the design called for complex custom elements including precast concrete, intricate lighting features, and large-scale bespoke installations.

    The 777m² site required a complete transformation from retail to a hospitality destination. The challenge involved adding an extra level, restructuring the roof and walls, upgrading services, and developing a new carpark, all while integrating large-scale hospitality functions such as multiple bars, a kitchen, and a shisha-friendly smoke extraction system.

    THE SOLUTION

    SHEETH delivered a full design and fit-out, incorporating a kitchen, multiple bars, and a high-capacity smoke extraction system. Recycled brick, clip lock wall and roof cladding, terrazzo highlights, and Black Japanese timber created a striking interior, while extensive landscaping with trees and internal greenery enhanced the overall environment. The structural changes and service upgrades ensured the building met all functional requirements while achieving a cohesive and modern aesthetic.
