HOW WE DELIVERED

EXCELLENCE

  • Delivered quality craftsmanship across all architectural and functional elements.
  • Executed complex structural and service upgrades with precision.
  • Completed a highly detailed cultural space that enhances community use and long-term functionality.

HOW WE DELIVERED

ENGAGEMENT

  • Maintained open communication with council and key stakeholders throughout the project.
  • Fostered strong collaboration across all consultants and trades to keep the program on track.
  • Coordinated closely with library operations to ensure smooth staging and safe public access.

THE CHALLENGE

Delivering a 1,950m² internal and external construction project within a fully operational library environment posed significant complexity. For the first four weeks, works had to be carefully staged around public access, safety requirements, and daily operations. The scope included full demolition, creating new openings and staircases, extensive services upgrades, and transforming both indoor and outdoor areas, all while navigating a community-facing setting and a detailed design-and-construct brief.

THE SOLUTION

The project was strategically phased to maintain safety and minimise disruption during the live environment period. Once the Christmas shutdown began, the team accelerated major structural, services, and fitout works to maximise efficiency. Managing the full design and construct process, including DA coordination, design development, and end-to-end delivery, ensured that each element, from joinery and bathrooms to the art gallery spaces and external areas, was completed to a high standard.
